T'ai Chi has been practiced in China for thousands of years. It is performed in slow motion, based on a continuous flowing movement coordinated with deep breathing. While T'ai Chi resembles an effortless dance, every movement is precise and is performed with a great deal of internal strength. The aim of T'ai Chi is to quiet the chatter of the mind and become attuned to the river of positive energy flowing through our bodies. We develop inner hearing, gain intuition and understanding, restore and maintain good health. We become balanced, graceful, and strong.

T'ai Chi Master Carole L. Booth is a founding member of the Lu T'ai Chi Players Association and has studied at the T'ai Chi Center with Master Teacher and Acupuncturist Iva Lim Peck since 1991. Iva Peck studied under Master Teacher Lu Hung Bin in Taiwan. T'ai Chi Master Booth practices a number of different forms, including the Lu 64 Move Form, the Plum Blossom Fan Form, Shin-Yi'i Broad Knife Form and the T'ai Chi Staff form.
