T'ai Chi has been practiced in China for thousands of years. It is performed in slow motion, based on a continuous flowing movement coordinated with deep breathing. While T'ai Chi resembles an effortless dance, every movement is precise and is performed with a great deal of internal strength. The aim of T'ai Chi is to quiet the chatter of the mind and become attuned to the river of positive energy flowing through our bodies. We develop inner hearing, gain intuition and understanding, restore and maintain good health. We become balanced, graceful, and strong.

Master Lu Han Bin created the Lu 64 Move Tai Chi Form. Teacher Carole Booth has been teaching the form ince 1991.

Tai Chi Teacher Carole L. Booth has been a student of T'ai Chi from 1991 to 1998. She initiated community education classes in Allen, Texas in 1999 at the City of Allen, Joe Farmer Recreation Center. For over twelve years her class, “Introduction to T’ai Chi”, has become one of the most popular classes offered by the City of Allen. For more advanced students she teaches the 64-Move Yang Form. The advanced Form may take more than a year to learn, yet over 35 students have achieved that learning process. Once a week, she teaches residents of Heritage Ranch Retirement Village, in Fairview Texas.
